Haiku's: A new life and Wishes

Carpe Diem #722 buried in moss

When I read this wonderful episode, two images dominated my mind. The first one was of moss covered letters and the second was of moss covered rocks at the bottom of a pond. Here are two Haiku's based on these images.

A new life

Under pink blossoms
Holding moss covered letters
Posing for flashes

Wishes

Rocks covered in moss
Bottom of the temple pond
Hide wishes in coins

I am eternally grateful to Chèvrefeuille for the daily Haiku prompts at

  2. The moss-covered rocks draw my attention. I wouldn't mind sitting on their cushioned surface!

  3. Temple ponds probably hold a lot more things than coins...some hidden wisdom, for instance.
