The End

Her ashen face
Turns to green
Like her translucent wings
Head bowed
She pleads
For redemption

Another chance
Freedom from her cursed life
For she is trapped
Neither human, nor fly
Condemned
To nothingness

Exposed, numbed
Mired in infamy
Her heart sinks
A river of silent tears
Just then
The curtain falls
