Book Review- The Best Seller She Wrote
It comes as no surprise that Ravi Subramanian’s latest book-
The Bestseller she wrote is the No. 1 book on the HT Nielson BookScan. With all the ingredients of a hit Bollywood masala
movie a motion picture is to be made on it soon too. I was very keen to read
this book as this was the first time one of my favorite authors had chosen
intrigue in romance as his subject. Beneath
the title of the book are three words that describe the book and its story very
aptly- Love, Betrayal and Redemption; the three classic ingredients of a great
story.
When a best-selling writer of thrillers chooses love as his
subject the story is sure to be a thrilling one with lots of twists and turns
which will leave you guessing till the end. Ravi’s latest book did not disappoint for a
second. I was hooked and could not put down the book and read it through the
course of a day.
I’m not going to give you the entire story and spoil your
fun but what I’d really like to do is give you a brief outline of the plot. I’m
sure just reading this is going to get your adrenaline pumping and you will
want to grab a copy right away. So what do you think happens when a best-selling
author becomes a fan of the writing of one of his fans? Paperback King Aditya
Kapoor has the life any person would kill to get. Donning many hats and succeeding
at all is not something every man can carry off. Aditya boasts of a perfect
family, banking career and stardom as a literary genius.
What happens when Aditya meets Shreya Kaushik; a young
beautiful, ambitious student who does not take no for an answer. Shreya nurses
a dream of being a bestselling author. Will Aditya make Shreya’s dream come
true? What about his family? What is the price Aditya will pay for his one
mistake? So many questions will run through your mind just reading the back
cover of this amazing book.
The best solution, grab a copy and put all your answers to
rest. It is fascinating that at the end you are left speechless wondering how
brilliantly the author has pieced together loose ends in the story and brought
out a whole new angle to the story that you weren’t even remotely expecting.
This hits you so hard and it fills you with a sense of wonderment.
Ravi Subramanian is truly a master story
teller and his latest book is really a heady cocktail which will take you on
this thrilling and fabulous journey you will enjoy immensely. If you’d like to take a sneak peek into the
book to check out the action beforehand, as if I’ve not gone on and on about it
in my review you can check out the book trailers here on YouTube.
So what are you waiting for? Go grab a copy of the most entertaining
read this Christmas now!
